If you’re going to be a bridge between things like business and engineering, you need to understand the culture, technical skills, and priorities for both, which can be very different. That diversity of thought can help you can broker solutions that take a lot of different perspectives into account.

I get big sets of data that I need to take apart and understand. It’s important to practice asking good questions and learning who is likely to have the answers you need. It’s a skill that takes effort to built, but really pays off in the end.
